This privacy policy explains how pmchampions.com (“the Site”) collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

1. Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of pmchampions.com. For any question regarding your data, you can reach us through the contact form.

2. Data we collect

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address (and, where applicable, your first name) when you subscribe voluntarily.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Comments: if you comment on an article, the name, email and content you provide.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and visit date, automatically collected by the server for security and proper operation.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Sending you our newsletter and resources — legal basis: your consent.
  • Responding to your requests via the contact form — legal basis: your consent / our legitimate interest in replying.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by technical providers acting on our behalf:

  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) — newsletter delivery and subscriber management.
  • Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd) — Site hosting.

These providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations consistent with the GDPR.

5. Retention periods

  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe (link in every email).
  • Contact messages: up to 3 years after the last exchange.
  • Comments: as long as they remain published, unless removal is requested.
  • Technical logs: for the limited period necessary for security.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

As the Site is operated from Morocco, some data may be processed outside the EU. We ensure such processing provides an adequate level of protection (standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority (the CNDP in Morocco, or your data protection authority in the EU).

8. Cookies

The Site uses a limited number of cookies:

  • Functional cookies: language memory (WPML), caching, session — necessary for the Site to work.
  • View-statistics cookie (“pvc_visits”, Post Views Counter): anonymously counts which articles are viewed. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

A banner informs you about cookie use on your first visit. You can configure your browser to block cookies.

9. Security

The Site is protected by an SSL certificate (HTTPS) and security measures (web application firewall, regular updates) designed to protect your data against unauthorized access.
